Junior Interior Designer

Ovadia Design Group is an award-winning New York City-based full-service interior design and architecture firm. They are seeking a creative and highly organized Junior Interior Designer to support the design team in executing luxury residential projects, contributing to all phases of design from presentations to project coordination. Responsibilities Assist in developing design presentations, including concept boards, FF&E selections, and materials palettes Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans Participate in site surveys, documentation of existing conditions, and installation coordination Source furniture, finishes, and fixtures from trade vendors with pricing and lead time awareness Coordinate with senior/intermediate designers and project managers to ensure project milestones are met Attend client meetings and assist with follow-up and documentation as needed Maintain project files, digital libraries, and material resource systems Skills Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field 1–3 years of experience in interior design, preferably with exposure to high-end residential projects Strong proficiency in Studio Designer, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and bolthires Office Keen eye for design details, scale, and proportion Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment Must provide portfolio to be considered (Please upload it with your cover letter.)This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Manhattan office.We are not accepting remote applicants for this role Familiarity with SketchUp and 3D rendering tools is a plus Benefits Health insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Exposure to elite residential design projects throughout NYC and beyond Mentorship from senior designers and opportunities for growth Collaborative, design-driven workplace culture PTO and paid holidays Medical, dental, and vision coverage (75% company-paid) 401(k) plan Pre-tax commuter benefits Summer Fridays Team-building events and a strong company culture Company Overview Web platform It was founded in 1997, and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA, with a workforce of 2-10 employees.Its website is
