Job Summary
The Junior GIS Analyst will develop geographic data for assigned areas, design computer-generated maps and reports, and provide administrative support to local Dealmakers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Design computer-generated maps, reports, tables, and charts for assigned regions using MapInfo.
Process requests and orders directly from Costco Operations for market strategy guides and display materials.
Perform various project-specific tasks, including research and data representation.
Provide administrative support to regional Dealmakers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., GIS, Geography, Computer Science).
General knowledge of geographic data systems.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in MapInfo.
Certificate in GIS or two years of relevant work experience in geographic data systems.
