The Junior Functional Analyst supports consulting projects with a focus on information technology (IT) program with the Government in a fast-paced environment on a high-performing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years on IT consulting projects, who is mission-focused, has great attention to detail, and continuously likes to improve team collaboration, processes, and deliver high quality work while supporting clients. Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and, as approved, remotely on a part time basis. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment. Responsibilities • Support client consulting projects and apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our clients • Provide project management analysis and support for a large IT program including risk management, requirements, reporting, and performance management • Participate in collecting and defining functional requirements and maintain and enhance the teams use of tools (Confluence/JIRA) • Collaborate with our clients and teammates to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results • Support consulting projects and contribute to company initiatives to build capabilities and develop new business opportunities • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop Required Qualifications • 2+ years of relevant experience in client-focused support on information technology (IT) programs • Direct experience supporting complex consulting or IT projects in a remote or hybrid environment • Experience and/or strong interest in working in a Government, homeland security, and/or emergency management environment, with skills in this area preferred • Technologically savvy and skilled in Microsoft products (Teams, Visio, Project, and OneDrive) and use of collaboration tools (SharePoint preferred) and tools like JIRA and Confluence • Ability to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and leadership potential • Self-driven with the ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person (hybrid environment) • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects • Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance • Education: Bachelor’s degree • Critical Skills: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibility, learning-oriented, excited to engage Preferred Qualifications • Ability to create dynamic and effective presentations and advanced PowerPoint skills • Experience using Microsoft Project to track and manage complex schedules • Experience working in an Agile environment and supporting team members throughout each phase of a software release Our recruiting process is very competitive.
