Junior Data Engineer
Amaris Consulting is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join their dynamic data team. The role involves contributing to the development, optimization, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure, while collaborating with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and reliability.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelinesWriting and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and transformationSupporting data integration from multiple sources (APIs, databases, cloud platforms)Ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrityParticipating in data modeling and database designCollaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needsSkills1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar roleStrong proficiency in SQLGood knowledge of Python (data manipulation, scripting, automation)Familiarity with ETL tools or frameworksBasic understanding of data warehousing conceptsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an assetGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a teamBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related fieldCompany OverviewAmaris Consulting is an independent technology consulting firm providing guidance and solutions to businesses.
