Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Data Analyst to join our Security Analytics & Innovation team. As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and updating policies/procedures and system documentation, managing Metrics & Reporting Delivery, performing ad-hoc analysis, and aiding in automation maturity efforts. This is an entry-level role that requires a strong aptitude for learning and participating in cybersecurity incident response, support, and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities


Documentation and Policy Management: Create and update policies/procedures and system documentation related to Analytical products, Metrics & Reporting packages, and Security Controls Map process flows.
Metrics & Reporting Inventory: Organize and maintain a Metrics & Reporting Inventory to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Metrics & Reporting Delivery: Manage successful Metrics & Reporting Delivery to support business strategy and decision-making.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis that contributes to strategy and decision-making.
Automation Maturity: Aid the team in supporting automation maturity efforts to improve efficiency and productivity.
Research and Development: Assist with researching Security platform systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
Collaboration and Communication: Work individually and with the team to meet and exceed established goals, and schedule and facilitate meetings as needed.


Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Education: High School/GED or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: Two years of administrative support experience or equivalent experience.
Programming Languages: Experience with programming languages such as Python, R Studio, SQL.
Data Analysis: Familiarity with working with structured and unstructured data sources.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain project risks and issues, research analysis, and technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Motivation and Organization: Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with all business and technical areas.


Preferred Qualifications:


Data Analysis Tools: Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Cybersecurity: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
