Junior Business Analyst – Power BI

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with Power BI experience to support data-driven decision making across the organization, assisting in developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business operations and leadership reportingBuild and maintain Power BI semantic models and data models, including handling complex relationshipsWrite DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical reportingDesign and optimize data visualizations that communicate insights clearly to business stakeholdersWork with large datasets to ensure performance optimization and efficient data refresh processesConnect and integrate data from multiple sources such as databases, ERP systems, APIs, and data warehousesAssist in data transformation using Power Query (M language)Validate and ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standardsAssist with maintaining data infrastructure, reporting servers, and BI platformsSupport the monitoring of scheduled refreshes, batch processes, and data pipelinesHelp design and maintain backup and recovery procedures for reporting datasetsProvide operational and technical support for BI tools and related systemsWork with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutionsSupport troubleshooting of data discrepancies, report issues, and system performance challengesDocument data models, reporting logic, and technical processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field0–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reportingExperience with Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, dashboards, and data modeling)Basic understanding of SQL and relational databasesFamiliarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processesUnderstanding of data governance and security principlesBenefitsContinuous professional development with many opportunities for growth!Recharge with 3 weeks of vacation, additional floating holidays & sick timeCompetitive Base Salary, Incentive Plan and Annual Merit Increases401(k) w/ matchComprehensive benefits which include medical, dental, vision & 401KCompany OverviewSolenis is a producer of specialty chemicals for industrial water treatment operations.
