About the position The Jr. Business Analyst, eCommerce Merchandising partners closely with Merchandising, Marketing, IT and Operations to evaluate business workflows, analyze data, document and optimize standard procedures, and train end users on tools and processes that support a scalable, growth-driven merchandising organization. This role blends technical analytics skills (data modeling, visualization, integration, and data analysis) with business process knowledge in merchandising and eCommerce. The employee combines hands-on technical ability with strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills and can bridge the gap between data and business strategy, turning information into insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. • 2–3 years of professional experience in a business management, retail analyst, or merchandising operations role (eCommerce experience preferred). • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and advanced Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, and data manipulation). • Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and integration from multiple systems. • Strong understanding of merchandising, item setup, and product lifecycle workflows. • Understanding of data governance principles, including data quality management, ownership, and process accountability. • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights. • Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels. • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Enthusiastic and driven with a passion for product integrity, processes, and continuous improvement.
