Overview Flomad Labs R&D is seeking a Journalism & PR Intern to join our communications team, where you’ll help craft stories that amplify the visibility of our AI and robotics innovations. This role offers an opportunity to develop your writing, research, and public relations skills while gaining firsthand experience promoting cutting-edge technologies to global audiences. You’ll assist with the creation of press materials, media monitoring, campaign support, and content development, ensuring that our brand messaging remains consistent, engaging, and forward-looking. Your work will contribute directly to building meaningful relationships with media, influencers, and the public. Additionally, you will engage in continuous research and evaluation of emerging AI tools to enhance productivity, staying abreast of the latest technological advancements. This proactive approach ensures our team remains at the forefront of innovation, integrating cutting-edge solutions into our workflows. Key Responsibilities • Conduct research on media trends, industry coverage, and relevant topics to inform storytelling strategies. • Draft press releases, blog posts, and news articles that communicate project updates, partnerships, and milestones. • Support PR campaigns, product launches, and digital events to increase public awareness. • Build and maintain media contact lists while assisting in outreach to journalists, content creators, and influencers. • Monitor media coverage and compile reports summarizing sentiment, visibility, and engagement. • Assist with social media and digital communications efforts to extend PR campaigns across platforms. • Explore AI-powered communication tools that streamline writing, research, and outreach processes. Qualifications and Skills • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to adapt tone for different audiences. • Familiarity with journalism, communications, or public relations principles is a plus. • Basic understanding of media tracking tools, SEO principles, or digital content platforms is preferred. • Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Interest in AI-driven storytelling, emerging tech, and digital PR innovation.
