Job Description: MuleSoft Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting enterprise-grade solutions and a deep understanding of integration strategies, MuleSoft components, and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable and secure API integration solutions using MuleSoft Any point Platform.

Define best practices, integration patterns, and governance policies for API lifecycle management.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and other architects, to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Design and implement APIs, data transformation, orchestration flows, and message routing using MuleSoft components like API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Data Weave.

Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams in implementing MuleSoft solutions.

Integrate MuleSoft with on-premises and cloud-based applications, databases, and systems.

Stay updated on the latest features and updates in the MuleSoft ecosystem and recommend their adoption where applicable.

Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of MuleSoft applications.

Prepare and present architecture and integration designs to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in IT with at least 4 years specializing in MuleSoft development and architecture.

Expertise in MuleSoft Any point Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center.

Strong knowledge of integration patterns, API design (RESTful and SOAP), and microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with MuleSoft components like Data Weave, Connectors, and Message Queues.

Proficiency in designing and developing reusable assets, frameworks, and APIs using RAML or OAS.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid integration models.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven.

Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT) in API integrations.

MuleSoft certifications (MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, MuleSoft Certified Developer) are highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
