Looking for a DBA / Support Engineer to join a dynamic team for a long term contract/ contract-to-hire! If you have a background with a blend of data, DevOps, automation, and scripting skills, this role is perfect for you! In this role, you will ensure the functionality and usability of our internal software applications while diagnosing and resolving issues. You will support cloud-based applications and work with cloud DB technologies such as Snowflake. Your expertise in writing queries and developing scripts using Python/PowerShell for ETL processes will be crucial. You'll perform routine operational tasks and troubleshoot errors, initiating corrective and preventive actions as necessary.

Job Details
Qualifications
 A minimum of 7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Servers
 BachelorÂs degree in IS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 Proven experience in database high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
 Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
 Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
 Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across different organizational levels.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document issues and resolutions.
 Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
 Ability to work independently or as part of a cross-cultural team.
