What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming phone calls from members and resolve inquiries to ensure quality service
- Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance member relationships
- Assist and train members in using automated services provided by the credit union
- Comply with regulations and complete account transaction requests efficiently
- Train other service center employees as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to twelve months of related experience, including call center or branch experience
- Must be MSR Certified or complete Certification within 3 months of hire
- Basic computer operating skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate patiently and courteously with members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience with Symitar and 10-Key
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute
- Familiarity with credit union policies and procedures
