As a Social Media Moderator, you will be the first point of contact for supporting viewers through Facebook and Twitter, serving as a critical brand ambassador for our premium streaming services, including Disney+ and Hulu. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and passion for customer service to resolve inquiries, provide product knowledge, and identify trends to drive business growth.

Disney Direct to Consumer (DTC) is a premium streaming service that offers a vast library of content from renowned brands, including Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Disney, and NatGeo. Our DTC team is dedicated to delivering a world-class direct-to-consumer experience, and we are looking for a talented Social Media Moderator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service via social media channels (Twitter and Facebook), responding to viewer inquiries about account management, billing, content, and site navigation
Relay expert-level knowledge of Hulu services and products to users in a clear and concise manner
Communicate user feedback and technical issues to Resolution Specialists and developers with precision and detail
Identify and communicate trends and areas for improvement to the social media team, driving business growth and optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve device and technology issues, ensuring a seamless viewer experience
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED, plus one year of experience in customer service
2+ years of experience in customer service and/or retail, with excellent communication, grammar, and analytical skills
Positive, can-do attitude, with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive under pressure and take ownership of issues from start to finish
Growth mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and help find solutions when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA degree or relevant professional experience
