Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Youth Sport Clinic Coach to join our team at the Longmont YMCA. As a coach, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young athletes, teaching them introductory through intermediate skills, rules of play, and the Y Way to Play. Key Responsibilities:
Teach introductory through intermediate skills, rules of play, and the Y Way to Play to youth athletes
Assist in officiating, parent interaction, and ensuring clinics run smoothly and safely
Organize and engage groups of children, breaking down skills and explaining them in a way that participants can understand and perform
Communicate and work with a variety of people, including kids, staff, other host staff, and community members
Requirements:
Age 16 years or older
Significant involvement and understanding of the sport
CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days (we can help with this)
Ability to organize and engage groups of children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English
