About the Role:
Provide recreation and leisure instruction to students in grades K-8 with multiple special education categories (ASD, EBD, and DCD)
Plan and lead instruction for gym classes, focusing on building social-emotional skills and promoting academic success
Develop and implement individualized educational plans, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
Collaborate with parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral or academic problems
Maintain accurate and complete student records, ensuring Due Process rights are maintained

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and licensed or able to obtain a license from the Minnesota (PELSB) in Autism Spectrum Disorders (B-12), Emotional Behavior Disorder (K-12), or Developmental Disabilities (K-12)
Knowledge of applicable learning theories, teaching methods, and curriculum development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
