We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our Media Foundation team, where you'll play a key role in building and improving the foundation that powers products across Airbnb. As a member of our Application Foundation Org, you'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver flexible, efficient, and scalable solutions that drive business growth.
About the Role:
Design, develop, and operate Airbnb's Media infrastructure, shaping the technical vision and delivering high-quality solutions
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product and business strategies, building novel products and features that delight users
Contribute to the full development cycle, from technical design to launch, and continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities
Requirements:
2-5 years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment
Strong software skills in Java, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Passion for efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality, with experience working with microservice architecture at scale (a plus)
