We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the Southwest region, focusing on MHS Resorts. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with customers, and delivering exceptional service excellence.
Job Summary:
In this exciting role, you will handle customer inquiries and lead requests for groups, working closely with customers to align their preferences with our brand needs. You will actively up-sell business opportunities to maximize revenues and drive customer loyalty, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage sales activities, including handling customer inquiries and lead requests for groups
Respond to incoming group/catering opportunities and refer opportunities to appropriate sales associates as needed
Work collaboratively with other sales channels to verify sales efforts are coordinated and complementary
Demonstrate excellent selling skills, strong communication skills, and a detailed understanding of property operations, food and beverage, and planning
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
Process business correspondence and create contracts and other related booking documentation as required
Candidate Profile:
We're looking for a talented individual with:
High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
Preferred: 2 years of experience selling group business, knowledge of property operations, Food and Beverage (F&B), and team-based selling experience
