Floor & Decor values its Retail Sales Clerks for their critical role in ensuring customers leave the store feeling satisfied with their purchases and overall shopping experience. As a key member of our team, you will:
Connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction
Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Maintain a safe and organized store environment, ensuring assigned areas are clutter-free, well-stocked, and compliant with company safety protocols
Collaborate with managers and teammates to achieve sales quotas, share knowledge, and drive business growth
Utilize our point-of-sale (POS) system to complete customer transactions, process returns and exchanges, and manage payments

Must be at least 18 years old
Basic math skills and proficiency in customer service
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail
Forklift certification via F&D may be required for certain job positions
Heavy equipment certification requires a drug test to be cleared, as per state laws
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
Lifting and manipulating objects up to 60 pounds occasionally, or 20-30 pounds frequently
Handling and feeling objects using hands and fingers
Prolonged standing, walking, and balancing while performing tasks
