We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our Head Start program team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting the social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development of children in our care. Key Responsibilities:
Implement curriculum and lesson plans to foster children's cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language skills
Conduct developmental and social-emotional screenings, and provide follow-up support and resources as needed
Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times, and maintain accurate records of attendance and progress
Collaborate with parents and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Utilize intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, to maintain records and communicate with stakeholders
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Two years of experience in early childhood programs
Registration with the Office of Child Care's Central Background Registry
Pre-employment physical examination and valid Oregon Driver's license
First Aid/CPR certification and Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain)
Bilingual English-Spanish capabilities preferred
