Job Overview
Route location: Jasper, IN, with orientation taking place in Bloomington, IN. As a Part-Time Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:
Filling, merchandising, and rotating products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs
Physically moving products from the backroom to display areas
Creating and distributing point-of-sale materials on display and shelves where permitted
Organizing and maintaining the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor
Fostering business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and proactive discussions
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing
Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with various customers
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively)
Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision
Critical thinking skills and a company-provided cell phone
Minimum qualifications include a valid in-state driver's license, excellent driving history, and proof of insurance policy. Preferred qualifications include excellent driving history.
