Key Responsibilities:
Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials
Select and prepare vending and cold drink equipment for sales requests
Ensure the safety and security of all outbound loads by utilizing protective wrapping and attaching proper documentation
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for loading and unloading trailers, and update SAP and CONA systems to track inbound and outbound loads
Emphasize safety and cleanliness by completing pre- and post-trip evaluations, maintaining accurate daily documentation, and ensuring a tidy and obstacle-free work area
Participate in various duties as directed, such as staging equipment, managing yard work, and removing clutter

Requirements:
Certification for forklift and pallet jack operation
Switcher operation certification
Class A commercial driver's license (may be required)
Proficient understanding of essential safety principles, including proper lifting methods and personal safety clothing
Expert-level forklift skills and basic pallet-jack skills
Elementary competence in mechanics and tool usage
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, generate reports, and perform intermediate math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Past experience in logistics handling
Familiarity with federal and state weight limitations
Work Environment:
Our warehouse environment is loud and subject to varying temperatures. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, lift weights exceeding 25 pounds occasionally, and remain seated for extended periods. Regular movement on and off a forklift and opening and closing truck dock doors are also required.
