Compensation: Competitive salary ($16.00 - $18.00 per hour)
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of college or higher education preferred
1 year of customer service or call center experience in a healthcare-related role
Medical intake or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) experience preferred
Bilingual English-Spanish a plus
Excellent customer relations, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Knowledge of medical terminology, provider organizations, and networks
Understanding of CMS Medicare reimbursement rates and ability to negotiate rate structures
Responsibilities:
Respond to telephone and email inquiries from members and providers within defined service standards
Negotiate with providers to gain acceptance for plans without network agreements and/or out-of-network providers
Assist members with benefits and healthcare questions
Document all calls received in system-based call log
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
