As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in helping children with autism develop critical skills and reach their full potential. Job Summary:
As a Center-Based Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
Following individualized treatment plans and behavior reduction protocols
Collecting, recording, and summarizing data on client behavior
Assisting with parent and caregiver training
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment
High School Diploma or GED required
Reliable transportation and proof of driver's license and valid car insurance (if applicable)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and physically perform the demands of the job
Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and excellent communication skills
