Join a Supportive Team as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Near Fort Walton Beach, FL
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a supportive school district near Fort Walton Beach, Florida for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working with a K–12 student caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct instruction and consultative services to students with visual impairments
• Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the individual needs of students
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and service providers
• Utilize Braille, large print, and assistive technology to enhance student learning
• Participate in IEP development and progress monitoring
Requirements:
• Active Florida TVI Certification
• Experience with K–12 caseloads
• Proficiency in assistive technology and adaptive materials
• Braille knowledge preferred
• Commitment to working onsite throughout the school year
