Position Overview

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our Pharmacy Benefits Manager Business Customer Service Center. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between arenaflex and our valued plan members, answering questions, providing information, and resolving concerns related to their prescription drug coverage and health insurance benefits.

This position offers the flexibility of working from home, allowing you to balance what's important inside and outside of work while remaining committed to delivering high-quality service. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding support to our members. Here's what you can expect:


Member Support: Respond to incoming phone calls and electronic inquiries from plan members regarding their prescription drug plans, coverage options, and healthcare benefits
Insurance Guidance: Answer questions about health insurance terminology, drug coverage details, copayments, deductibles, and prior authorization requirements
Prescription Assistance: Help members understand their prescription benefits, locate in-network pharmacies, and resolve medication-related issues
Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve member concerns in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to company standards
Education: Explain complex healthcare concepts in clear, understandable terms, empowering members to make informed decisions about their coverage
Documentation: Accurately document all member interactions in our customer relationship management system to ensure continuity of care and compliance requirements
Compliance: Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all federal regulations governing healthcare information privacy and security
Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product updates, policy changes, and best practices in customer service
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads, supervisors, and other departments to address escalated issues and improve overall member experience


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications


Customer Interaction Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer-facing role, such as call center, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military service
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Windows-based applications and navigating multiple software systems simultaneously
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
Location Requirement: Must reside within 150 miles of Nashville, Tennessee (for initial training purposes)


Preferred Qualifications


Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience
Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy-related customer service
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
Bilingual capabilities (especially Spanish) – a plus but not required
