Job Title: Night Shift Press Operator - Join Our Team and Shape the Future of Knowledge Sharing
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated #3 Press Operator to join our Core Publishing Solutions team at our state-of-the-art printing plant in Eagan, Minnesota. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in operating our cutting-edge offset and digital web presses, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the press crew with setup and production activities, including preparing for upcoming jobs and staging materials
Quality checking products, completing transactions, and bundling and tagging products for our customers
Filling in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks
Monitoring equipment and product quality, maintaining a safe and clean work area, and documenting activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems
Using safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations and reporting all safety and environmental hazards
About You:
Possess a High School Diploma or higher, with a vocational/technical degree preferred
Some experience working in an industrial setting with production machinery, with strong mechanical and technical skills
Ability to regularly lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder, push, pull, and lift at least 10 lbs. occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
