Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our new HOTWORX 24-hour infrared fitness studio in New York City. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for introducing our innovative fitness studio concept to the NYC market, leading our sales staff, and delivering a legendary customer service experience to our members.
Our studio offers a unique 3-dimensional training method, combining heat, infrared energy, and exercise to help our members achieve their fitness goals. We are looking for a driven and fitness-minded individual who shares our passion for helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the sales staff and overall membership experience for our clients
Work as a team player to grow the member base of the studio through sales, onboarding new members, and delivering exceptional customer service
Perform various tasks to promote the HOTWORX brand and services in the community, including social media, outreach, and local events
Lead and motivate the membership sales team to achieve personal sales goals and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs
Maintain an immaculate fitness studio with a focus on cleanliness and operational excellence
Recruit, onboard, and train new staff members, including sales associates and trainers
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
1-2 years of supervising experience (preferred)
2+ years of customer service experience (preferred)
Personal passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle
Previous management experience, fitness certification, or degree in a related field (preferred)
