Primary Responsibilities

As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you will be responsible for:


Assisting customers via phone or in person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and concerns.
Reviewing confidential tax information and maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies to educate and advise internal and external customers.
Providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer requests.
Supporting customers with online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center, utilizing advanced technology to provide seamless and efficient support.
Utilizing excellent communication skills to provide knowledgeable and accurate information in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Staying up-to-date with revised policies, procedures, regulations, and tax laws to maintain a high level of expertise and provide accurate guidance to customers.


Minimum Entry Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:


A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
At least six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:


Experience working in a high-volume contact service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes.
