Job Title: ELA Assessment Writer (Grades 6–8) – MCQ Development Company: QBS Learning Engagement Type: Contract / Freelance Start Date: Immediate (Project starts this month) Duration: Until mid-March About the Project QBS Learning is onboarding experienced ELA Assessment Writers for an upcoming project (Grades 6–8). This role focuses exclusively on multiple-choice question (MCQ) development aligned to California standards. Key Responsibilities • Develop Grades 6–8 ELA multiple-choice assessment items • Write 7 MCQs per set, along with: • A brief preview (2–3 sentences) • A short summary (2–3 sentences) • Revise and incorporate client/editor feedback within given timelines • Ensure all items align with California ELA standards (Grades 6–8) • Adhere strictly to project guidelines, rubrics, and quality expectations Note: Passage writing is not included in the scope.
