Job Title: Control Systems Engineer Manager - Remote Opportunity
Job Description:
Join our team at Amazon as a Control Systems Engineer Manager, where you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our fulfillment center operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and designing work activities for Control Systems Specialists to achieve the objectives and goals of our North America Customer Satisfaction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and plan work activities for Control Systems Specialists to achieve objectives and goals
Collaborate with building Operations, Projects Engineering, FC Start-up Team, and other groups to support MHE systems optimization and project execution
Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks
Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance/operations to resolve system performance issues
Act as first-level escalation support for Control Systems Specialists, troubleshooting and resolving hardware or controls software systems issues
Mentor Control Systems Technicians and Control Systems Leads within your assigned building
Apply technical expertise to improve building utilization of systems and participate in Failure Analysis and Incident Review processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon Blue Badge/FTE experience
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/locations, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electrical theory, mechanical components, and automated equipment
Experience with HMI and control network components, including programming and design
Experience with motor controls, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, and standard electrical components
Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems
Experience with SCADA systems and KPIs, as well as programming languages such as RSLogix5000 studio and FT View
