Key Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile supporting payment details to ensure accuracy and compliance
Verify policy terms of coverage and process payments due
Ensure payments adhere to policy and departmental guidelines
Manage ceded reinsurance billing, including invoice distribution, follow-up on outstanding amounts, and reporting
Support reconciliation and escheat processes related to claim payments
Cross-train and serve as a backup for other Finance team members as needed
Perform additional duties to ensure the overall success of the Finance team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Powercomp, Freedom Reinsurance System (FRS), and Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to take ownership
Team-oriented, approachable, and self-motivating, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm
Preferred Qualifications:
College diploma or university degree in accounting or finance
