Position Overview
As the Managing Attorney, you will serve as the backbone of our legal team, ensuring success across all legal departments while contributing to firm-wide growth, compliance, and branding initiatives.

This role requires a dynamic leader who thrives on challenges, client engagement, continual learning, and organizational excellence. You will oversee a range of legal cases, refine workflows, ensure compliance, lead consults, review applications, and collaborate on marketing strategies to strengthen our firm's presence and mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Oversight and Leadership
• Lead and supervise a range of immigration cases, including Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, T Visas, U Visas, VAWA, Removal of Conditional Residence, Parole-in-Place, DACA, Consular Processing, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and a limited EOIR docket.
• Conduct thorough application reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to USCIS standards.
• Keep the team informed of immigration law updates and policy changes, ensuring proactive case strategies.

2. Compliance and Best Practices
• Ensure the firm’s adherence to all ethical standards, rules of professional responsibility, and best practices in immigration law.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all workflows, guaranteeing compliance across the entire lifecycle of every case.
• Conduct regular audits of legal processes, ensuring the firm's practices meet or exceed industry standards.

3. Sales and Client Consultations
• Conduct initial consultations and ongoing client meetings, showcasing the value of our services and securing new cases.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients and the legal team to streamline complex immigration processes.
• Supervise intake processes and sales performance, maintaining a high standard of client service.

4. Workflow Development and Continuous Improvement
• Regularly assess and refine workflows to enhance efficiency and ensure optimal outcomes in all legal departments.
• Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation within the team.

5. Marketing and Branding
• Actively participate in marketing efforts, including the creation of videos and online content to enhance the firm’s branding and visibility.
• Represent the firm through community engagement and by building relationships with clients and stakeholders.

6. Team Development
• Mentor and support legal staff, cultivating a high-performing and cohesive team.
• Lead with empathy and adaptability, ensuring team success and growth.

Requirements
• Professional Credentials: Must hold a valid Bar license.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in immigration law, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is essential to serve our diverse client base effectively.
• Compliance Knowledge: Demonstrated experience ensuring adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and professional responsibility rules.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and case management software is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
• Salary: $135,000.00–$145,000.00 annually, with performance-based bonuses.

• Flexibility: Remote position with a flexible schedule, including availability for one Saturday per month to meet client needs.
