Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Asset Protection Operations Coach to join our team at Walmart. As an Asset Protection Operations Coach, you will play a critical role in driving sales, leading and developing teams, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring effective merchandise presentation, assessing economic trends and community needs, and overseeing the stocking and rotation of merchandise.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Driving sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation and assessing economic trends and community needs
Leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
Providing exceptional customer service standards to store associates and managing customer service initiatives
Providing supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring
Controlling the unexplained loss of merchandise and improving profitability by identifying and communicating performance goals and objectives
Building accountability for policies and procedures and measuring adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures
Detecting, deterring, investigating, and resolving violations of company policies and criminal activities
Partnership in collaborative efforts with other investigative entities and monitoring safety and risk controls within a facility
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Completion of 2 years of college or equivalent experience
1 year's experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment or related experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection
Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
