Responsibilities...
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Adapt instructional materials and teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve academic and personal goals.
Requirements:
A valid Missouri teaching license in Special Education.
Relevant state and local certifications as required by the school district.
Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
