We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Tester who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web applications and API interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in manual testing methodologies and a willingness to learn and adapt to automated testing tools. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in an Agile environment. Qualifications: Experience: Familiarity with web applications and API testing. Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of manual testing strategies and test case design techniques. Automated Testing Tools: Knowledge with automation tools (e.g., Robot, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). API Testing Knowledge: Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia. Testing Types Understanding: Knowledge of various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing principles. CI/CD Awareness: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution processes. ETL and REST APIs: Understanding of ETL processes, RESTful, and HTTP APIs to facilitate effective automation testing. Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities for defect reporting and collaborating with stakeholders. Agile Knowledge: Ability to work within Agile methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies. Knowledge on AWS cloud services. Key Responsibilities: Test Design & Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans for integration and APIs, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functionalities. Automation Development: Create and maintain automated test suites using advanced frameworks such as Robot, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, with a focus on API-centric environments. Functional Testing: Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to evaluate workflows involving data extraction and integration from various sources, including relational databases and file formats (e.g., XLSX, CSV). Localization Testing: Validate multi-language support (Portuguese-BR, Spanish-LATAM, English) and localization features across integrated systems. Data Validation: Scrutinize complex data transformations, calculations, and business logic across integration points. API Testing: Conduct thorough API testing for RESTful services using tools like Postman or Insomnia, ensuring accurate JSON data handling. File Handling: Validate document upload, storage, and retrieval functionalities for various file formats within the integration. Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects in bug tracking systems while working closely with developers to ensure efficient resolution. User Acceptance Support: Facilitate user acceptance testing and collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure all integrated applications meet requirements. Documentation Maintenance: Update and maintain test documentation, contributing to quality metrics reporting with a focus on integration performance.
