JD Law Clerk (Ivy League Caliber-Up to $100/hr)
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented JD Law Clerk to join our legal team remotely. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to support law firm operations, conduct comprehensive legal research. Duties • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing litigation, contracts, and compliance projects. • Assist in reviewing, drafting, and editing legal documents, including contracts, memoranda, and pleadings with precision and clarity. • Support the firm by preparing summaries of legal issues, analyzing case law, and providing insights on legal strategies. • Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal standards during document review processes. • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on litigation support tasks such as discovery management and case preparation. Qualifications • Demonstrated research and analysis skills with the ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly. • Experience in contract review, drafting, or litigation support is preferred. • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for drafting memos, reports, and legal documents. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work setting. Academic Qualifications Necessary • Top 15 Undergraduate School Preferred • Law School Graduate • Civil Litigation Experience (NOT Criminal/NOT Family) or Federal State Clerkship Salary DOE Pay: $35.00 - $100.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
