Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in GCP and GKE to design, develop, and support scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud-native microservices, and will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
ā¢ Design and implement microservices architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
ā¢ Deploy and manage applications using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
ā¢ Build and support event-driven systems using Kafka
ā¢ Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of applications
ā¢ Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment
ā¢ Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 8+)
ā¢ Proven experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
ā¢ Hands-on expertise with GCP services
ā¢ Strong experience with GKE (Kubernetes)
ā¢ Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms
ā¢ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
