Japanese-speaking Customer Support / Remote work
Summary:
A tour company is seeking a Customer Support (Japanese speaking) team member. This role involves handling booking-related inquiries via phone and email, as well as selling optional tours and gift products.
Responsibilities:
• Record and deliver messages, furnish information, accept orders, and relay calls.
• Accept and convey messages for customers according to specific client instructions.
• Handle emergency calls and resolve customers issues and concerns by following proper procedures; obtaining information from the caller. Report to manager, if needed.
• Take customer information, arrange the services and submit reservation requests to vendors by telephone and on-line systems.
• Handover to next shift staff on unresolved messages or incidents.
• Compute charges, receive charge card payments, and reconfirm tour details with the customer.
• Perform all other multi-task duties within company as assigned by General Manager.
Must Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess at least one (1) year experience in a call center or, customer service/Sales environment.
• Good command of Japanese and English to communicate with customers and vendors. *minimum JLPT N2 and TOEIC score 700 or equivalent level is required.
• Able to resolve conflicts and complaints from customers in an effective and friendly manner.
• Able to use computer with specific knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, good data-entry and typing skills
Preferred Requirements:
• Possess knowledge of tour industry, tour movements, and arrangements.
• Working knowledge of Hawaii's tourism infrastructure, understanding of different countries tour characteristics and needs.
• Possess working of telephone operation and etiquette

- Pay Rate per hour: $17.00 ($21.00 - night/overnight shift premium)
- Working Hours: Shift schedule. 24 hours/7 days a week. Must be available to be flexible to work all shifts, days and nights including holidays.
up to 40 hours per week with overtime, as deemed necessary, with prior management approval.
up to 20 hours per week.
