Japanese Linguist
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
We are looking for several English into Japanese translate to join our growing team for one of our global clients. They will take ownership of the incoming work on this account and will actively contribute to the success of the program.
MAIN DUTIES
ā¢ Translate and review content from English into Japanese with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.
ā¢ Content types: Informational, Marketing, Legal, Product, Support
ā¢ Expected capacity per week: 2,000 to 5,000 words
REQUIRED SKILLS
ā¢ Proficient in all areas of expertise: Informational, Marketing, Legal, Product, Support
ā¢ Well-versed in various translation & terminology tools.
ā¢ Excellent communications skills in English (spoken and written).
ā¢ Native fluency in target language.
ā¢ Degree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience.
ā¢ Able to follow instructions, eg. character restrictions, etc.
ā¢ Able to communicate effectively the rationale behind their transcreation skills.
ā¢ Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario a plus.
