Position Overview:
Hourly Pay: $4853 per hour, based on experience
Work Schedule: Flexible full-time and part-time options available
Remote Position: Conduct therapy and evaluations from home
Caseload: Average of 25 students with diverse speech and language needs across different grade levels
Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099)
Your Responsibilities:
Virtual Therapy: Provide tailored remote therapy sessions to meet the individual needs of students.
Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' speech and language needs and develop appropriate interventions.
Collaboration: Work closely with parents, educators, and school teams to create and implement personalized treatment plans.
Behavioral Support: Develop strategies to assist students with speech disorders and related behavioral challenges.
What Were Looking For:
Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Certifications: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for or possession of a Pennsylvania state license.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
Skills: Strong communication abilities to collaborate with students, parents, and educational teams effectively.
Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using online tools and virtual platforms for therapy and assessments (Zoom, online therapy tools, etc.).
