Janitorial Worker
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition. Responsibilities
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts in compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with custodial duties in various environments including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any needs for repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care methods including buffing and waxing is highly desirable.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
