Join Delta Air Lines as an IT Summer Intern to support multi-year IT transformation initiatives and international alliances technology projects. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Gathering requirements for development, design, and testing of decision support systems. • Participating in development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of software applications or infrastructure environments. • Utilizing technologies including AWS cloud, Java/JEE, JSON, Spring, Angular, Agile/DevOps, API, JavaScript, C++, Python, REST, XML, web services, HTML, Oracle, and mobile technologies. • Performing some non-technical duties as assigned. About You The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: • Commitment to the full summer internship program from May 11 to August 7, 2026 (13 weeks). • Willingness to work from the Atlanta, GA office with a hybrid work schedule upon management approval. • Ability to accept diverse people and thinking, prioritizing safety and security for self and others. • Interest in solving complex problems and willingness to invest time and energy to overcome challenges. • Awareness of cloud technology, Software Development Lifecycles, and/or PC hardware components and maintenance. • Mature conduct and comfort working in a business casual environment. • Interest in full-time employment with Delta after graduation if offered. Training & Development Intern roles offer opportunities to accelerate IT transformation experience and work with innovative technologies in a collaborative environment. Career Progression Opportunity to transition to full-time employment with Delta Air Lines after graduation if an offer is extended.
