IT Systems Specialist

The IT Systems Specialist role involves providing hands-on technical support, managing user issues, and assisting with Microsoft 365 and cloud-first migrations.ResponsibilitiesTriage, resolve and own Jira Cloud tickets for user issues (access, email/Teams/OneDrive, printers, apps, device troubleshooting)Escalate complex issues as needed and provide both onsite and remote support for Irvine employeesClearly document solutions and contribute to a growing knowledge base to streamline future supportHandle routine admin tasks (onboard/offboards, group memberships, mailbox access, aliases, licensing, MFA resets), troubleshoot access issues, and assist with SSO deployments and cutoversStage and deploy new laptops/desktops using Intune/Autopilot or standard builds, install apps/drivers/security agents, set up desks and conference rooms, swap hardware, and manage loanersAssist with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, Proxmox), connectivity troubleshooting (SASE/SD-WAN/VPN/LAN/Wi-Fi), and participate in software/hardware rollouts and patch cyclesMaintain accurate hardware inventory and lifecycle tracking in Lansweeper, including assignments, returns, replacements, and warranty notesTake on new projects and collaborate with the team to enhance our IT business systemsSkillsBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experienceStrong troubleshooting skills with WindowsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows operating systems, server environments, and network connectivityComfortable with identity management and SaaS apps (Microsoft 365 proficiency required)Experience with ticketing workflows (Jira Cloud preferred)Solid understanding of fundamental computing concepts and principlesExcellent communication skills, thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and reliable follow-throughIntune/Autopilot experienceSSO knowledge (SAML/OIDC, onboarding, cutovers)Familiarity with backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity proceduresProficiency in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory, group policies, and user account administrationVirtualization exposureAsset management tools like LansweeperBasic PowerShell scriptingCompany OverviewOptimize, simulate, and control electrical systems with confidence across utilities, infrastructure, manufacturing, and building sectors.
