This is an exciting remote-based opportunity to contribute to impactful technology initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Work Location: The position is Remote; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite meetings at the client’s offices in Baton Rouge, LA - approximately once per quarter or less.Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide day-to-day project management support
Create and publish project documentation, including project status reports, project schedules and plans, risks, issues and other documentation, as needed
Plan for utilization of resources
Meet with Management and Users to understand project goals and milestones
Track Project milestones and deliverables throughout project life-cycle
Provide and maintain detailed software/hardware maintenance documentation
Act as liaison on behalf of client and internal departments
Create end user documentation and training as needed
Provide technical knowledge transfer, training and documentation to client and internal staff for all requested work, as needed
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
5+ years of experience in managing projects
Ability to provide business references for all positions listed on resume
Ability to work within the Continental US
Excellent communication skills
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:
Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Law Enforcement technology project experience
Project management experience with a state agency
PMP Certification
SCRUM Master Certification
Managing large scale projects with many teams and stakeholders
