IT - Software Engineering Intern - MSP

Support Delta Air Lines’ IT transformation as a Software Engineering Intern, contributing to innovative technology solutions and operational excellence. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Gather requirements for development, design, and testing of decision support systems. • Participate in development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of software applications or infrastructure environments. • Utilize technologies including AWS cloud, Java/JEE, JSON, Spring, Angular, Agile/DevOps, API, JavaScript, C++, Python, REST, XML, web services, HTML, Oracle, and mobile technologies. • Perform some non-technical duties as assigned. • Work primarily from the Minneapolis St. Paul, MN office with a hybrid schedule upon management approval. About You What you'll need: • Commitment to the full summer internship program from May 11 to August 7, 2026 (13 weeks). • Willingness to work from the Minneapolis St. Paul, MN office with a hybrid schedule. • Minimum 2.5 GPA and completion of at least 2 years in a college program. • Good work ethic and ability to accept diverse people and thinking. • Prioritize safety and security for self and others. • Interest in solving complex problems and willingness to invest time and energy to overcome challenges. • Awareness of cloud technology, Software Development Lifecycles, and/or PC hardware components and maintenance. • Mature conduct and comfort working in a business casual environment. • Interest in full-time employment with Delta after graduation if offered.
