IT Service Engineer SME

DescriptionActioNet has an opportunity for a Senior IT Service Engineer This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.Responsibilities:Supervise and manage daily system configuration and operations for mainframe, mini, or client/server-based systems.Plan and monitor system optimization and resource utilization.Conduct system capacity analysis and planning.Assist users in accessing and utilizing business systems.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degreeExperience: 5 yearsCoordinate and perform network hardware and operating system additions and changes.Investigate, analyze, recommend, configure, install, and test new network hardware and software.Provide direct support for daily network operations, system utilization, and response time monitoring.Detect and correct operational problems at both physical and logical network levels.Troubleshoot using network measurement tools and physical device testing.Maintain network infrastructure standards, including TCP/IP communication protocols.Provide technical consultation, training, and support to IT staff as designated by the government.ActioNet is a CMMI-DEV Level 4, CMMI-SVC Level 4, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, HDI-certified, woman-owned IT Solutions Provider with strong qualifications and expertise in Agile Software Engineering, Cloud Solutions, Cyber Security and IT Managed Services.
