This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Massachusetts (USA) Job Title:IT Security Engineer (100% Remote) Position Type: Contract Location: Framingham, MA Primary Skills: Firewall Engineering Key Responsibilities: • Design, install, and support Genetec access control and CCTV systems • Configure and program security hardware (cameras, locks, alarms, sensors, etc.) • Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud) • Troubleshoot security systems and ensure everything works correctly • Set up networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, etc.) • Communicate with teams and clients to understand needs and provide custom solutions • Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and trends • Maintain technical documentation and system designs • Provide technical support and user training • Participate in testing, knowledge sharing, and project meetings Must-Have Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in tech/IT or equivalent experience • 8+ years working with: • Genetec access control and video management systems • Axis and Hanwha cameras • Installing software like Genetec, Salient, Omnicast, Synergis • Strong knowledge of networking and server infrastructure • Hands-on experience with intrusion detection systems (DMP, Bosch preferred) • Genetec certifications • Familiar with security system compliance and best practices • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks • Comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall project methods This offer from "Georgia IT, Inc." has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 72% flex score.
