Job Title: IT Security Architect
Location: Richmond, VA (Remote with Monthly Onsite Meetings)
Contract Duration: 2 Months (Potential for Extension)
Interview: Web Cam Only
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced IT Security Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating governance documentation for Security Tools and Services, focusing on identifying security risks and evaluating security architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical business functions.
• Conduct security reviews, identify gaps, and create risk management plans.
• Evaluate security architecture and ensure it meets required specifications.
• Document security controls and protection needs for information systems.
• Work with Security Engineers and System Administrators to collect system variables and configurations.
Key Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IT architecture concepts and security technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, IAM, Cloud Security).
• Experience in determining security system design, resilience, and adaptability.
• Ability to map system configurations to security policies.
• Proficient in documentation tools (e.g., Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).
• Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts clearly.
Required Experience:
• 5+ years in Information Security, with hands-on experience in security technologies.
• Proven expertise in specific security technologies (SIEM, DLP, IAM, Cloud Security).
• 3+ years of experience in documentation, project management, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Certifications:
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP (or similar).
