Job SummaryDevelops a deep understanding of the professional liability insurance market and uses that knowledge to develop and drive a product strategy for their domain. Works with customers, partners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to find and prioritize the right opportunities and deliver solutions that solve customer needs while achieving our business goals.Key Responsibilities Relying on experience and judgment, this role will work with the Principal Product Manager on the suite of professional liability products and is responsible for accomplishing the following assignments. These assignments are varied in nature.Use the full suite of product discovery techniques to develop a deep understanding of the specialty insurance market broadly, and the professional liability insurance market specifically.Become very acquainted with our customers and stakeholders strategic goals and the data behind those goals.Develop a position on the biggest challenges our customers and stakeholders face in achieving their strategic goals, communicate those challenges broadly, and evangelize how technology can address those challenges. Continue to refine, revisit, and re-message that position as the facts change.Prioritize solving the most important challenges and opportunities in the optimal order, using data, experiments, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes to maximize our chances of success.Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to determine the optimal business solution for each challenge or opportunity, ensuring the solution is viable, consistent, strategic, and simple.Provide thought leadership within TMHCC and within the marketplace.Communicate the product roadmap and the strategic decisions behind it to customers, stakeholders, and the IT/Application Development team.Maintain a backlog of work to fulfill the product roadmap, including discovery, story writing, grooming.Develop and communicate product success measurements and outcomes.Represent customers and stakeholders in product, design, and release decisions.Develop and conduct user acceptance testing and training and champion product launches.Participate in opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.Adhere to Company compliance policy and values.CompetenciesPlanning• Develop work plans, establish timelines, and set goals for assigned work.• Meet commitments on deadlines.Communication• Review activities, results, and recommendations with management and clients as appropriate.Cost Management• Drive improvement in existing business processes.• Perform work thoroughly in a cost-efficient manner and at a high productivity level.Business Controls and Policies• Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.• Report any breakdown in controls to management.• Conduct all activities in a safe manner.People Management• No people management responsibility but may provide guidance to fellow team members.EducationMinimum 4 Year bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.Tokio Marine HCC is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion. The pay range for this position is $49.47-$75.02 hourly which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
