At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests.THE JOB:The Privacy Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the MGMRI Privacy Office and managing multiple privacy programs and projects. This position collaborates closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across Product, Technology, Security, Compliance, Marketing, Legal, and Human Resources to support and maintain company-wide compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. The Privacy Manager also provides guidance and support to the IT Privacy Analyst while ensuring that all activities, initiatives, and decisions align with MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and departmental procedures.THE DAY-TO-DAY:Lead the development and maintenance of MGMRI’s customer-facing privacy resources, including online privacy portals, the Online Privacy Policy, and website/mobile privacy tools, ensuring compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, as well as other applicable regulations.Oversee the enterprise Privacy Training Program by developing training materials and educating MGM staff on privacy requirements, responsibilities, and best practices.Manage Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), review and approve data transfers, and identify and address potential privacy risks.Promote Privacy by Design across the organization by collaborating with Information Security and other teams to enhance privacy controls, support investigations and response efforts, and strengthen risk mitigation strategies.Serve as the internal privacy subject matter expert, advising business units on policies and procedures, resolving compliance issues, and guiding updates to the privacy program roadmap.Monitor emerging privacy laws, regulatory trends, and third-party compliance, engaging with partners and industry resources to ensure alignment with evolving data protection requirements.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in privacy, risk, audit, or related IT compliance functions.Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority programs, projects, and assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision.Strong technical aptitude with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with technology professionals and cross-functional teams.Knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and best practices, along with the ability to understand data flows and support the integrity of the organization’s privacy compliance program.Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail; ability to make sound decisions, build effective relationships, and work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.THE PERKS & BENEFITS:Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and moreFree meals in our employee dining roomFree parking Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the communityVIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:https://mgmresorts.marketpayjobs.com/ShowJob.aspx'EntityID=2&jobcode=11755Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
