IT Legal Counsel (Fluent Ukrainian)

We're looking for a Senior IT Legal Counsel who’s not just a risk manager, but a growth enabler. If you’re ready to shape strategy, drive innovation, and actually move the needle – let’s talk.Your responsibilities will include:Negotiating and drafting a variety of contracts, including investment agreements, convertible notes, service contracts, partnership agreements, terms of use, and privacy policies;Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis on international regulatory matters, with a focus on compliance in the USA, EU, Asia, and the Gulf regionFacilitating mergers and acquisitions, while providing legal due diligence for potential investment opportunities;Ensuring legal compliance across all business operations and jurisdictions;Performing thorough due diligence for potential investments, ensuring compliance and identifying risks.What you will need:Master's degree in law;3+ years of professional experience;Experience working in an IT product company;Fluent communication skills of written and spoken Ukrainian and English (B2+)Experience contributing to the continuous reviewing, drafting, and negotiating of agreements;Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research skills;Being goal-oriented, ambitious, and ready to take on challenges.Would be a HUGE plus:Experience in tax planning;Great sense of humor We offer:Remote work in Ukraine or in a similar time zone;Competitive monthly rate in USD;Business work hours;Paid intensive training and trial period;Responsive management interested in your growth and long-lasting cooperation.Originally posted on Himalayas
